Pittsburgh Panthers

The Pittsburgh Panthers, commonly referred to as "Pitt", are the athletic teams representing the University of Pittsburgh. The Panthers compete in NCAA Division I and are members of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Pitt has a rich tradition in college football and basketball, with nine claimed national championships in football.
